Leicester Sexual Health Online Booking Service

Before proceeding with online booking, it is important that you read the information below.

If you were unable to book an online appointment the first time or you’re having trouble booking online then please DO NOT try to book again. Please contact the service on 0300 124 0102.

If you need access to the list of services below, then please DO NOT USE the online booking service, as most of these services can be accessed online without an appointment.

• Online STI testing

  
  

  If you have no symptoms and just want a STI test, please visit https://leicestersexualhealth.nhs.uk/online-services

• Emergency Hormonal Contraception (morning after pill)

  
  

  If you have had unprotected sex and don’t want to get pregnant, you can take the Emergency Hormonal Contraceptive (EHC) pill (also known as the morning after pill) up to 120 hours or five days after unprotected sex. EHC is more effective the sooner you take it, so act fast.

  We advise calling the pharmacy in advance to ensure the pharmacy is open, has emergency contraception in stock and the staff to provide it.

• PEP

  
  

  If you have had sex with someone without a condom in the last 72 hours (3 days), who you know has HIV or think they may have HIV, please do not use the online booking system. Please contact us 0300 124 0102, or if we are not open please attend your local A&E.

  There is a treatment called PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) that may reduce your chances of getting HIV if started within 3 days (72 hours) of being exposed. Further information about PEP can be found on the NHS Choices website: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/hiv-and-aids/treatment/

• C- Card and Condoms

  
  

  We do not offer appointments online for condoms or C-Cards. You can pick up condoms using your C-Card from a range of venues across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

  If you do not have a C-Card, please contact 0300 124 0102 or visit your nearest C-Card registration venue.

• Sexual Assault
