What is the C-Card?
The C-Card is a card which offers free and easy access to condoms and lube in a range of venues, including some clinics, schools, colleges and pharmacies. In Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, the C-Card is available to those aged 13+.
When used correctly during sex, condoms are the only type of protection that help prevent both sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancy.
It doesn't matter whether you’re having sex, thinking about having sex or if you’re just curious, the C-Card service is confidential and our trained workers can offer friendly advice on sexual health and relationships.
How does the C-Card work?
The C-Card allows you to get free condoms from a range of venues in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. These venues could be clinics, pharmacies, schools or colleges.
The card will not have any personal details on it, like your name, it will only have a unique number on it.
Simply take your C-Card to a local distribution venue or bring it into one of our clinics, and get your condoms without questions or judgement.
How do I register for a C-Card?
Registration is quick and easy and takes about 10 minutes. You will only be asked for a few simple details like your name, postcode and date of birth.
All the information you provide is confidential and will not be passed on to anyone else, (unless we were concerned about your safety, but we would always try and talk to you about this first).

Registering online (18+ only)

University Students
Please note: Priority for online registration is given to people who do not have convenient and nearby access to a C-Card pharmacy. If you are a student at De Montfort, Loughborough and Leicester Universities, please register for C-Card and your first pack at your Student Union.
Registering over the phone
You can call our service on 0300 124 0102 for quick and easy C-Card registration.
Registering at a clinic or venue
Type your postcode into the C-Card search bar in our Clinic and Service Locator to find your nearest C-Card registration venue. This could be a clinic, pharmacy or educational venue.
Please click on the venue itself to find out whether it offers C-Card registration. If a venue is listed as distribution-only, this means it can only give you free condoms if you already have a C-Card.
How do I get more free condoms with my C-Card?
Simply type your postcode into the C-Card search on our Clinic and Service Locator and find free condoms closer to home.
We advise contacting venues in advance to check they are open and have condoms in stock and be sure to have your C-Card to hand. Please note that you cannot collect free condoms from schools, colleges or universities unless you are a student there.
