Important Notes:

  • Our walk-in clinics have limited capacity and may close at any time if maximum capacity is reached. Please be aware that there may be a long wait if the clinic is busy. We will ensure you are triaged by a clinician, and an appropriate appointment is arranged if required.
  • Our walk-in services will prioritise patients with STI symptoms, young people (aged under 18), emergency contraception (EHC), and post-exposure prophylaxis for HIV (PEP)
  • (*) Free condoms from clinic: If you are attending a walk-in clinic for free condoms with the C-Card, either to register for a first card or to get a refill pack, please note that there may be a wait for this service. Our walk-in clinics are very busy and staff will prioritise booking patients into the clinic before dealing with your request. You can also use your C-Card at pharmacies across the region. Find a venue near you on our Clinic and Service Locator.
  • Please be aware that due to the nature of our services, it is not always appropriate for children to be present during your consultation. Please attend your appointment alone. This means no children or babies.
  • IUCD (Coil) and Implant fittings and/or removals and any PrEP requirements require a specialist appointment and will not be seen in these clinics. If you need a coil fitting or removal, please make an appointment via PHR or call our switchboard. If you have any PrEP requirements, this appointment must be booked via our switchboard.

Appointments:

If you would prefer to make a pre-booked appointment, you can do this online. You must register for a personal health record (PHR) to book online. There are many benefits once you have registered for PHR, including:

  • You only need to enter your personal details once
  • More control over booking and cancelling your appointments
  • You can update your demographics so they are always up to date on your medical record
  • Any messages or correspondence we send will go directly to your PHR account. This will give you extra security and peace of mind. The nature of these clinics means that it is not always possible to see all patients - alternative clinics to attend will be offered.
