BASHH – STI Foundation Theory Course

Course Information:

The STI Foundation Theory (STIF) course is made up of 3 parts, together with eLearning:

  • Foundation Theory 1
  • Foundation Theory 2
  • Foundation Theory 3

It aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes for the diagnosis and management of common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and to know when and how to refer.

Who can book this course?

This is a multi-disciplinary course and applications are invited from:

  • Doctors
  • Nurses
  • Registered Midwives
  • School Nurses
  • Pharmacists
  • Physician Associates
  • Healthcare Assistants in contraception/family planning
  • Secondary Care Clinicians who may encounter patients with STIs

Course Fees

The course fee is non-refundable on acceptance to this course, except in exceptional circumstances as deemed by the course organiser. In the event there are insufficient delegates to run the course, we reserve the right to cancel within 4 weeks of the course date.
