What is the C-Card?
The C-Card Scheme offers free and easy access to condoms, lube and sexual health information for teenagers and adults in Leicester. The C Card is a small card, the size of a debit card, and can be used in over 60 city venues including many pharmacies, colleges, universities, clinics and schools.
When used correctly and each time you have sex, condoms are the only type of protection that help prevent both sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancy.
Whether you’re having sex, thinking about having sex or if you’re just curious, the C-Card service is confidential and our trained workers can offer friendly advice on sexual health and relationships. All of our condoms are supplied by LTC Healthcare who have an excellent reputation internationally.
How does the C-Card work?
You can sign up for your C-Card at a range of venues in Leicester. These venues include clinics, pharmacies, schools and colleges.
The card will not have any personal details on it, like your name- it will only have a unique number on it.
Once you have signed up for your C Card, you can use it to access C card packs discreetly, quickly and confidentially.
If you are under 16, you will be able to use your card for five visits and if you are 16+, your card will allow you ten visits. Afterwards, you can sign up for a new C card to continue getting more packs.
How to register
Registering online (18+ only)

Registering at a clinic or venue
Type your postcode into the C-Card search bar in our Clinic and Service Finder to find your nearest C-Card registration venue. This could be a clinic, pharmacy or educational venue.
Please click on the venue itself to find out whether it offers C-Card registration. If a venue is listed as distribution-only, this means it can only give you free condoms if you already have a C-Card.
