Below is a list of services we do not offer at our sexual health clinics, and where to go for these services.
Fertility testing
Where to go for this service: GPs can refer you to for testing if appropriate, or there are private providers which offer this.
Gender services
Where to go for this service: Find a list of gender clinics on the NHS website.
Genital/general dermatology
including skin tags and (non-genital) scabies
Where to go for this service: Visit your GP in first instance, who can refer you to dermatology/other services if required.
HIV treatment and care
Where to go for this service: Leicester’s HIV Treatment and Care services are provided at Leicester Royal Infirmary. You can call them on 0116 258 6816, or we can refer you there if needed. Sexual health charity, Trade, provide additional support around HIV, including peer support. Read more here.
Menopause services and/or HRT
Where to go for this service: Available from your GP.
Printouts of STI testing results
Where to go for this service: You can access results online via your PHR account, but we cannot provide printed results (including for STI testing prior to any fertility treatments). There are private providers which offer this service.
Sterilisation and vasectomy services
Where to go for this service: You can be referred for this via your GP.
Termination (abortion) services
Where to go for this service: There are links to local services on our website under “Other Support Services“.
Travel or occupational vaccinations
Where to go for this service: These may be able to be provided by your GP, paid for privately from some pharmacies, or via your workplace.
