Services Not Offered in Our Clinics

We can help with many things in our clinics, such as contraception, STI testing, and cervical screening.

But there are some services we do not offer in our clinics. It might be helpful to know that we cannot support with the following:

Dermatology: We do not treat skin conditions affecting the genitals (including scabies). We also do not offer skin tag removal. Please see your GP for a referral to Dermatology at your local hospital.

Sterilisation: We do not offer sterilisation or vasectomy services. If you are interested in this, please see your GP.

Termination of Pregnancy (Abortion): We do not offer pregnancy termination at our clinics. If you need information on termination services, please visit  BPAS or NUPAS. You can also contact University Hospitals of Leicester by phone on 0116 258 5939 or 07867528791.

Gender Reassignment: We do not offer support with gender reassignment. If you would like information on gender identity clinics, please visit the NHS website.

Menopause: We do not provide support with menopause or issue HRT. We also do not routinely offer coil fitting for HRT purposes. If you need support with menopause or perimenopause symptoms, a GP, nurse or pharmacist can give you advice and help. The nhs.uk website also has useful links for organisations which offer support relating to menopause.

Printing of Results: We cannot provide certificates or print outs of STI testing results for any purpose (e.g. fertility clinics).

Travel / Occupational Vaccinations: We do not provide vaccinations for travel destinations or for work-related health hazards and diseases. Please see your GP if you require this service.
