PrEP stands for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis. It is a way of preventing HIV transmission by taking medicine before and after sex. PrEP is taken by people who don’t have HIV, to prevent them from getting HIV.
This fortnightly clinic is for people who are starting PrEP for the first time (or who have moved to Leicester and Leicestershire and are seeking a prescription locally for the first time).
This clinic is for the LGBTQ+ community, and is also open to heterosexual new arrivals who have been living in Leicester City and have migrated from another country within 2 years.
PrEP CLINIC at Trade runs on the first and third Thursday of each month, 4-6pm
