Clinic changes as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak
Our Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland sexual health services are now offering a mixture of face-to-face, telephone, video and online services. These services are still appointment-only, with no queue and wait clinics available.
We are receiving a high volume of calls and may not be able to answer your call today. Appointments will be booked according to your initial clinical assessment. This means you may not get an appointment on the same day that you call.
Coronavirus guidance from July 19th 2021
Please note that NHS patients, staff and visitors must continue to wear face coverings and follow social distancing measures in healthcare settings, unless they are unable to do so for medical reasons.
This will help to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and staff, especially those who are more vulnerable to infection.
We also request that you take your own lateral flow test on the day or the day before you attend the clinic. These are widely available and are free of charge. Visit the gov.uk website.
If you have any of the 3 coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, even if mild, please stay at home and self-isolate.
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
- you’ve lost your sense of smell or taste or it’s changed
Booking an appointment
Please arrive 10 minutes BEFORE your appointment time. If you have not arrived by your designated appointment time you may have to be re-booked.
